Napa vs Sonoma, Wine Pack

Napa vs Sonoma, Wine Pack

This wine pack lets you sample the iconic varietals of the renown wine growing regions of Napa Valley & Sonoma County.

"Our focus is to get the best fruit possible, for some varieties this is only feasible from certain regions. That is why we have multiple vineyards located in the napa valley and beyond. Our philosophy is to make well-balanced wines that showcase the “terroir” of each unique vineyard site. In this way, we can experience the flavor and aromas of the growing region and vineyard itself" - Dario Sattui

♦ Napa Valley Wines ♦

♦ One bottle of 2021 Reserve Chardonnay, Napa Valley, a round and balanced full-bodied Chardonnay from vineyards in the southern end of Napa Valley with lush notes of baked apple, ripe pear, fall spices, and toasted almond.

♦ One bottle of 2019 Pinot Noir, Los Carneros, cool maritime air of the Los Carneros region coupled with warm, sunny days yields this silky Pinot Noir. The Los Carneros AVA includes both the famous wine growing regions of Sonoma & Napa counties. Receiving its AVA status in 1983, Carneros area was the first wine region in California to be defined by its climate characteristics rather than political boundaries. Rich aromas of black cherry, blackberry and dried sage lead to notes of dark fruits with plush tannins, balanced acidity, and hints of smoky caramel from aging in French oak barrels.

♦ One bottle of 2019 Sangiovese, Napa Valley, a blend of Sangiovese fruit from our own estate vineyard in the Diamond Mountain District along with fruit from Voyager Vineyard, with a touch of Napa Valley Merlot.

♦ Sonoma County Wines ♦

♦ One bottle of 2021 Pinot Noir, Cresta d'Oro Vineyard, an elegant cool-climate Pinot Noir from our estate vineyard in Green Valley of Russian River Valley. Fruit-forward aromas of red-cherries are balanced by savory notes of mushroom and baking spices from aging in French oak barrels.

♦ One bottle of 2019 Zingaro, Sonoma County, our Zingaro is made from a blend of Zinfandel fruit sourced from the cool-climate Russian River Valley AVA in northern Sonoma County, along with a touch of our own Primitivo grown in front of the Castello. The cool climate of Russian River Valley allows for slow ripening of the fruit, resulting in full flavor development and increased complexity, while the old vines produce fewer, more concentrated clusters, which add an extra layer of depth and complexity to the finished wine. The Zinfandel fruit is grown at Boschetti Vineyard, it was planted in the 1920's by Pietro and Centurio Boschetti. the vineyard has been a mainstay for almost a century.

♦ One bottle of 2022 Pinot Bianco, Sonoma County, a bright, dry white wine with aromas of white flowers, apricot, and citrus balanced by a round acidity and clean finish. Sharp Vineyard located in the Sonoma County AVA.
