Vineyard Notes

The cool spring, clear, sunny month of June and moderate temperatures through July and August allowed the vines to develop grapes in pristine conditions. By late summer things started to warm up and continued through early September to bring sugars and the concentration of flavors to ideal levels. Overall, the 2019 Vintage looks to be another fabulous year for wine!

Winemaker Notes

A Regal Dessert wine made from overripe grapes which develop botrytis cinera, or “Noble Rot.” Shriveling the skins and enhancing sugar, acid, flavor, and intensity. This succulent and deliciously complex white wine is made in the style of some of the world’s greatest dessert wines, such as sauternes and the “Dried Grape” white wines of Sicily known as “Passito di pantelleria.”
