Winemaker Notes: Sinalunga is a wine epitomizing the love, passion, quality, attention to detail, and dedication that went into the making of Castello di Amorosa. Named for the small Tuscan commune near Sienna which inspired Dario Sattui to construct the Castello, this Exceptional, limited-production wine is symbolic of the castle itself, a crowning achievement.

Vineyard Notes: A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon fruit sourced primarily from top vineyards in the Rutherford AVA of Napa Valley, an area famous for producing layered and complex Cabernet Sauvignon.

2019 Growing Season: The 2019 year was one of contrasts in Northern California. The cool spring, clear, sunny month of June and moderate temperatures through July and August allowed the vines to develop grapes in pristine conditions. By late summer things started to warm up and continued through early September to bring sugars and the concentration of flavors to ideal levels...Overall the 2019 Vintage looks to be another fabulous year for wine!

Wine Advocate (93 Points) - The 2019 Sinalunga Super Tuscan Red Wine may take its inspiration from Tuscany, but the composition and winemaking are all Napa, consisting of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2.5% each Malbec and Petit Verdot, all aged in 100% new French oak. Aromas of cherries, vanilla, red currants and blackberries appear on the nose, while the palate is full-bodied, richly textural and tannic, ending on hints of mocha, crushed stone and tart berries.
