ACCOLADES

• Wine Review Online (91 Points)

"Castello di Amorosa's Napa Valley Sangiovese continues to carry bold stylistic markers in 2019, with ripe black cherry, soft herbs and deep oak spice – it’s tipping its hat to Brunello while maintaining its Napa Valley sense of place.  Sangiovese can be flexible that way, and the Castello remains committed to the variety in its California home.  Count me among the thankful." - Rich Cook

Elegant with red berry fruit, spice, vanilla, toasty oak and a nice long finish with balanced tannin.

Without question, the best Sangiovese I have tasted, outside of Italy. Vanilla, toasted oak, peppery, and goes well with any red sauce and pasta you can create. The peppery notes also make it a wonderful pairing, for any grilled red meat, but don't ruin it by preparing it with some cheap barbecue sauce. Let the meat and wine, work in harmony...some things simply don't need any help. Thank me later.

My favorite wine from the castle, I was enamored from the first moment we tasted it on our tour and immediately became members and brought some home. You can not go wrong if you are looking for a delightful red
