2020 IL PASSITO, Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon
Il Passito is a wine for kings and queens; rich, unctuous and complex. An elegant and nuanced honey sweet dessert wine, made in the fine sauterne style. The bouquet is complimented by the toasty notes from the selection of French oak barrels and the aging “on the yeast”. The wine is uncommonly viscous and lingers on the palate long after tasting. Its rich, natural sweetness leaves a lasting impression that is signature of perfectly overripe wine grapes.
