2021 PINOT NOIR, Anderson Valley

This Castello estate vineyard is located just south of the town of Boonville in Anderson Valley. A cool-climate region famed for its Burgundian and Alsatian gewürztraminer and Riesling. Our Anderson Valley Pinot Noir is a blend of five clones from this vineyard: 777, 115, DRC, Cal-era, and 667.  

Tasting Notes: Soft aromas of blackberry and black cherry mingle with hints of clove and subtle smoke, leading to elegant notes of dark fruits, black tea, and forest floor.  

Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with a wide variety of foods, including mushroom tapenade, roast lamb, and braised duck breast.
