Our Limited Edition, single-vineyard 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Butala Vineyard, located in the legendary Coombsville AVA of Napa Valley. An exceptional Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with excellent long-term aging potential. This estate vineyard has very rocky, red volcanic soils and steep hillside slopes. This wine shines bright for its purity and elegance, with enticing notes of cassis, dried blueberry, violets and tobacco spice. Opulent, yet bright, this balanced wine is luxurious with firm tannins, and a lingering finish. Pair with roast meats, grass-fed steak or grilled Portobello mushrooms with balsamic glaze.

Sourced from the Butala Vineyard in Coombsville, just east of Napa, where rolling hills, fertile volcanic soils, and cooling breezes from San Pablo Bay shape the region’s distinct terroir. Brooks Painter, Director of Winemaking, aged the wine for 20 months in French oak, crafting one of Castello di Amorosa’s standout wines of 2022. In the glass, this bold, structured wine delivers savoury sage and fresh fennel spices, hallmarks of Coombsville’s signature profile. The palate unfolds with deep black fruit, robust tannins, and an iron-like minerality that brings a saline quality to the long, herb- and fruit-driven finish — a top-tier expression from Castello di Amorosa, showcasing both power and finesse in the 2022 vintage.
