Sourced from the Morisoli-Borgers Vineyard in Rutherford, Castello di Amorosa has been crafting this wine since 2006. The 2022 vintage was aged for 22 months in new French oak, delivering a classic expression of the site. Dusty currant fruit, dried rose petals, and red-toned berry notes emerge, hallmarks of this renowned vineyard. New wood cedar and kirsch notes highlight the warmth and elevated oak influence of the vintage. Full-bodied, it features robust, iron-laced tannins that are intricate and densely packed. The wine finishes with lavish baking spice notes and impressive fruit density, a fine representation of its site and vintage.
