Tasting Notes
An approachable, medium-bodied rich red blend with aromas of black cherry and sweet tobacco mingling with a hint of earthiness. polished tannins and balanced acidity are displayed on the palate, with notes of red and black fruits and hints of black pepper framed by toasty oak.

A dry, rich red wine blend from the napa valley which can be cellared for up to ten years.
Production Notes
February saw abundant rains, followed by lots of filtered light in spring and early summer. Both bud break and flowering occurred a bit late, but under ideal weather conditions, creating plentiful and even fruit set. Summer brought generous sun during the day and cooler marine influences, virtually uninterrupted by major heat spikes. The relatively mild Napa Valley summer followed by extended fall sunshine and moderate heat created near– ideal conditions for our winemakers to allow their fruit to accumulate flavor complexity with gradual increases in sugar levels.

Winemakers, Brooks Painter and Peter Velleno went all in to craft this beautifully soft and fruit forward red wine blend.
