Vineyard Notes
Bien Nacido Vineyard is an iconic American vineyard located in the Santa Maria valley along the central California coast, which has been producing highly ac-claimed chardonnay, pinot noir, and Syrah fruit for over 40 years. It has been named of the “Top 25 vineyards in the world” by wine and spirits magazine and one of the “Top Grand Cru Vineyards in California” by Wine Enthusiast Magazine.
Winemaker Notes
The 2021 Napa Valley grape harvest set new records for early maturity and reduced yields across all varieties in Napa. Extremely low rainfall in the winter and spring had growers struggling to manage water status and low vine vigor. Smaller canopies, short shoots and low yields have produced massive flavors and beautiful aromatics in the wines.
Food Pairing Notes
A beautiful, full-bodied wine to pair with Brown butter and sage gnocchi.
Other Notes
This wine is exclusively available for purchase directly from Castello di Amorosa and is not sold through other retailers.
