Had the dragon-- but it got stuck in a bottle once. Boyfriend at the time had to pry it out. A few months later, the black rubber piece remained in a bottle but the pourer did not. I accidentally threw the bottle away without retrieving the rubber piece.
Buying another one anyway because who doesn't need a dragon wine pourer??

Loved the Gargoyle wine pourer but the rubber piece got stuck in the bottle and we accidentally threw it away. Hate to have to buy a new one just for the rubber piece :( but we do love it!

Picked up the Gargoyle, while at the Barrel Tasting event last year. Thought it was the coolest wine pourer ever, and proceeded to purchase a few more for gifts, when I returned home. Bought several of the armored horse head as Christmas gifts, and then the dragon for myself and a friend. The rubber stopper/sleeve on the dragon, seems to be a problem, for everyone who has purchased one and written a review. It tends to slide off and get stuck in the bottle, and you have to pry it out with the pourer stem, or something else that is long and skinny. The rest...never had a problem with. So consider that when purchasing one; but it's a dragon head, and a great conversational piece. The Gargoyle however, is still my favorite.

We bought the dragon aerator and my husband insists on using it every time we pour any kind of wine. Definitely a fun little flare to add to your wine time :)

If you don't insert too far it'll be easier to extract, only need to seal the liquid from the air... if rubber gets stuck, you'll be able to pinch it with finger / thumb -> trial and error ( or vice versa )

The animal head pourer is great. But be aware the black rubber stopper doesn’t always pull out of the bottle. We had bought the lion piece. It would be great if we could purchase replacement stoppers
