Imported from Italy, Leonessa’s Farfalle Vegetali contains three types of pasta – spinach, tomatoes and beets. A Durum wheat semolina base, this robust and colorful pasta has egg added to the mixture for a smoother texture. This pasta is also known as “bow-tie” or “butterfly” pasta for its unique shape. Durum wheat semolina, eggs, and water. Contains spinach, tomatoes, and beets. It is made using the traditional Italian pasta-making technique of using bronze dies and natural drying.
